Because Kim Clijsters retired from Rogers Cup, Vera Zvonareva is back at number 2 in the world!
Because Clijsters withdrew from Cincinnati, Zvonareva has a good chance at being the number 2 seed at the US Open as well. In order to do this, she will need to get to the round of 16.
